Whiteboarding Link to heading
One of my new favorite skills is whiteboarding. A recent Harvard Study sited in Forbes decided that PowerPoint was not a productive use of time. One of the things I need to be able to do is deliver high level concepts in a short amount of time. Today, I went to one of our offices to practice my whiteboarding. It was good. I really enjoy delivering content to an audience that has never heard it before. This type of practice has helps me prepare with questions that I don’t normally think of. Part of delivering a good whiteboard presentation is being able to change direction when needed. Today I was able to get through my delivery twice, for about 2 hours. Both times, the first ten minutes were what I planned for. Both times, the rest of the presentation was answering deep diving on totally different topics.
